Unfortunately, I am afraid this schedule won't fully prepare Scott for districts. They knew they had the talent this year, why play teams that you crush. The regular season in my opinion is to prepare for the post season. This game does not benefit Scott at all. On the up side though 4-0 for the first time in school history.

Nobody has EVER complained about Scott's schedule. Has it been easy....kind of. West Jessamine has one of the top backs in the state, and Holmes, I say is still a good win, especially since it's been years since they've beaten Holmes. The other two games have been garbage, and next week will be as well. Even so, Scott has never beaten even bad teams so soundly. Will they win the district?? Who knows....but for once, all the district games do look winnable (but tough). But let them put together a few really good years before we start holding their feet to the fire over scheduling.

What I think is funny is for years and years people always say why don't Scott schedule teams they can beat to get excitement to a team that is known for losing year after year. Now they are 4-0 and everyone wants to talk about a weak schedule. I just like to sit back and laugh at it all. Congrats to the program for being the first 4-0 team in Scott's history.

When Campbell County beat Newport 27-7 on the opening night of their (CCHS) new stadium and Newport without Joseph at RB we heard from many that Campbell is a good team this year. Scott beats Newport by 50 with starters playing the first half only on Newports home field and we hear its fool's gold. You guys kill me!

I have no problem with Scott's schedule. You have to do what you got to do to build excitement around the team. They are doing just fine. I think they are building the confidence they need to build confidence the team needs for district play.

 

It's much better going into district play 5-0 than 0-5. At least the players now believe they can win and with Cooper struggling it could be just what the Dr ordered for the Eagles to open district play in 2 weeks.
