Joe B Hall Classic Field 2014

I just checked Montgomery County's schedule on the KHSAA and noticed the Wayne County game is scheduled for February 9th at 4:00pm at MCHS. It is listed as the Joe B. Hall, but that seems to be the only game.

 

Nothing set in stone yet, but all games except the Trinity/Holmes are planned on being played.

I will have full details around 1:00 today.

There will be 4 games on Sunday Feb. 9th starting at 1:00. From what I understand, the schedule will stay the same with the exception of the Trinity/Holmes game not being played.

Any idea why no Holmes/Trinity game,,,Could it have been because of the withdrawal last week?

^ Trinity already had games scheduled for Feb. 7, 8, and 11. The latter two are both on the road and out of town. Trinity's coach and AD didn't want to end up with four games in five days, three of which were out of town. Simply a matter of the reschedule date not fitting into Trinity's schedule.

Here's the schedule

 

1:00 Fleming County vs. Knott Central

2:30 Hopkinsville vs. Perry County Central

4:00 Montgomery County vs. Wayne County

5:30 Henry Clay vs. South Western Pulaski

So the match-ups aren't all the same. This actually looks like better match-ups than the original.

(Excluding the fact that there is no Trinity/Holmes game).

The 24th annual Joe B. Hall Prep Classic, postponed by bad weather last Saturday, has been rescheduled for Feb. 9 at Montgomery County High School.

 

Prep Classic director Ira Combs was able to get eight of the 10 teams to take part — No. 8 Holmes and No. 1 Trinity were the exceptions — and he had to tweak the remaining schedule:
