Anderson County and Boyle County meet Friday in Danville. Both teams are 3-0.

Boyle Co. 42-28.

It should be a good game. I like Boyle by a 35-14 score.

Anderson Co is 2-0 right now. If I was Vegas I would not put a line on this game as I, personally have no idea which way this game will go, and it could go either way. Boyle beat a Danville team that to me looked very bad against Anderson Co in an earlier scrimmage, so I thought Boyle would have no problem with Danville, and they didn't. After a couple of shaky scrimmages, Anderson seems to have improved, but it appears both teams they have beaten, South Oldham and Clark Co. may not be very good, so I'm not really sure anyone knows where Anderson really stands right now. This game will be a toss up I believe.

If I remember correctly the scrimmage between Anderson and Danville ended in a 28-28 tie. So if Danville looked bad in that game in a tie and the AC schedule so far has been weak, how does this game rate as a toss up?

Here appears to be the deal with Boyle Co. As best as I can see. First the room for them to grow is tremendous because they start so many underclassmen. Second their D was the big question mark going into the season and they have really shown up. If they were to go all the way this year they will not see a bigger team or more athletic bunch than warren central. Third they will not see the amont of overall speed from anybody else in 4a as they saw in Danville. Fourth nobody can keep them out of the endzone. There backfield has

Enough power to compete at any level. Their qb is dangerous and threat to go anytime he touches the ball and he touches the ball every play, and he throws a real nice ball, just a soph. The running backs are all good and hard to bring down especially Hoskins. Burke punishes people on both sides of the ball. The receivers are open alot because the backfield is so dangerous. There is a good expo why Boyle is not down like the last 2 yrs. By the way Boyle pulled its foot off the gas on Lincoln and Danville, probably because French has friends at both places. The game with Warren Central was a battle.

So i believe Boyle will win but I think a team like Anderson will be good competition for this young team. It is good to see 2 programs with lots of success play each other

Well said endzone. Hoskins is also a force on defense along with several others such as McKinney. Several of the younger kids like Daniels at over 300 lbs is a real force on that defensive line. They have another defensive lineman that goes over 300 lbs that is playing a great deal as well. The defensive backs have made some plays. They may be the key as to how far Boyle advances this year.

Easy. Anderson dominated Danville in the first half of their scrimmage, was up 21-7 at half and really should have been 21-0, and Anderson didn't really look all that good doing it. They tried some things the 3rd quarter that didn't work and allowed Danville to get back in the game, which happens in scrimmages sometimes. Anderson has improved since then, as one would hope would happen, they are better than Danville. Are they better than Boyle Co is the question.

Looking forward to this game! Two teams that can put a lot of points on the board. The team with the better defense will win this game. That's why I'm picking Boyle.

Anderson will score points especially if the defensive backs for Boyle are weak. Anderson backfield has been weak also. I predict a high scoring game. Close score.

This game is one the best in the state this week. Both teams Strengths and weaknesses will offset. This game goes down to the wire.

Boyle - 49

Anderson - 42

I think it will be a secure win for Anderson, they are picked by alot to go to the state finals this year. So I see them handling business vs. Boyle....

Getting intriguing. I'll be surprised if Anderson County can score more than 21 points against Boyle County. We shall see.

Can the 5A earn back some respect tonight? I'm thinking no.

5a success based on beating Boyle County???

Hey. This is the fun time. Two good teams facing each other from different classes. One will be a little sad on Sat. morning, but neither team should hang their head if they lose. This game will make them both better when they get to the play offs. There is a chance that Boyle may have to drop back to 3A with the next alignment because of declining enrollment. Just what I have heard?
