Bellevue is a good team. Better on the defensive side than the offensive side. They will be a solid # 2 team in their district and could make some noise in the postseason.

Scott could without a doubt...Best team they have ever had in Taylor Mill. Walton has no business being in the top 10..

 

WV scrimmaged Scott the weak before the season started, and for what it is worth, Walton played right with them. From what I was told, Walton did very well verses Scott in the scrimmage.

 

Also, Walton went up 27 to 7 over Newport before the first quarter was over. It took Campbell the entire game to achieve the same mark.

 

I know...a couple of week arguments. I get that. I am just saying that they have my attention and I do think they might have a place in lower part of the top ten.

No, I am not guaranteeing a Walton win, but I will raise my hand to the argument that yes, they could play with at least one or two of them. I am not sure that all three of them are on an equal level anyway.

Absolutely no way Walton comes close to beating Campbell Co. Walton struggled to beat Bellevue a few weeks ago. Walton is the 2nd best team in 2a in NKy behind NCC..

Not so fast. Bellevue is a good defensive team but the only offensive points they scored was when they got the ball on Walton's two yard line on a muffed punt. Walton also had some personal changes after that game that made a huge difference.I never like to say who would beat whom without actually playing the game. I believe Walton would play them tough but I worry with Campbell two platooning Walton would get tired. I would not but too quick to say "no way" they would beat them.

Scott's starters played 3 series and scored on 2 of the 3. Then they subbed their juniors who play zero varsity in to the game and that is when Walton had success on offense. Scott also kept in very vanilla on both sides of the ball. Base on defense (3-4) and power/counter on offense. Walton is a VERY GOOD 2A team. LLoyd and Walton are closing the distance on NCC, but it still is a rather large gap.

No Dixie? I watched some of their game with CovCath and I thought they looked a lot better than they did last year..

For whomever talked about Lloyd they really have a lot to prove. One victory over a pretty weak Dayton team. Walton is a pretty nice team but, would not beat any of the teams I have listed above (in my opinion). Walton MAY be the second best 2A school in Northern Ky. but in this poll that leaves them at a 12 or 13 overall.
