You guys say Hazard is overrated when really they are the most underrated team in the 14th. Everyone always talks about PCC, Leslie, and Lee being at the top when Hazard beat Leslie and had them down bad late and they had PCC beat and they threw it away in the final seconds. Everyone has already counted Hazard out of the district saying Leslie and PCC are coming out. You guys are in for a surprise come March.

I would have to say that the most overrated team is Hazard they have lost some big games this year which leads me to my most underrated team in Jackson city they have beaten Hazard, Knott Central, and a very tuff Greenup team I also think that Cordia is underrated.

Be careful when you say teams are overrated because it always comes back to get you at some point...I will say that I think Cordia is probably who I think is the most underrated. They have a very solid club and could cause some problems for some people in the 14th region tourney...

I'll take this one back, Buckhorn has quit at the end of the year and have some tough games coming up against a much improved Powell Co. team, an excellent Leslie Co. team and Jackson City. They looked like a deer staring at a headlight against Hazard. Hazard played terrific defense.

The same remarks have been made each of the past 4 years with the same results,Hazard 1 and out.Nothing different this year,they do get a head start on baseball though.

According to both, I think the most underrated team is Jackson City, and I think that JBS is the most overratted due to their loss to Owsley and because their center is out. Switching Jackson City with JBS would make the lists more right.

please explain? Lee just won the all "a" but did get beat by #25 Brossart. they are 18-6 beating underrated estill THREE times & Powell TWO times.

Leslie just beat #1 PCC & have played arguable to toughest schedule in teh mountains

 

I agree with the underrated but needs to include Jackson City.

UK4Life- I am not saying Lee or Leslie are not good I am just saying they are not that much better than Perry, Hazard, Letcher, Jcity, Estill and others.

If some one just read the bgpreps posts about those 2 schools and never watched any 14th region games you would think they were head and shoulders above everybody else.

Lee has a good record but have not really played anybody that good outside of region compettion. Bishop Brossart is a decent team but they have had better teams the last 2 years when Hazard beat them in All A. Lee won the all a but that does not get you anywhere just ask Hazard who won it 3 years in a row.

Leslie is good but have not lived up to preseason hype. Perry gave the game to them friday night.

I think both Lee and Leslie can win region, but they are not that much better than everyone else.
