I thought the Conner linebackers were really good last night and the 3-5 D scheme was very effective. The two sophs (now juniors) from last year have really gotten better. Romey, Castleberry, Warwick all played well.

There is a lot of praise regarding the physical ability of #7 ....

 

He is on a completely different level than everyone else mentally ... lots of great checks all night.

It is one thing to watch film ... it is something different entirely to translate that into real time.

I wasn't there but it's not really surprising. It's my understanding from talking to Drew and Coach Delph that they have spent a lot of time since his 8th grade year working on reading coverages. I know he checked out of the called play quite often last year.
