Saw this team in action at the Hoover National 7 on 7 tournament. Very impressive for the win for Purples.

I believe Bowling Green was undefeated in pool play of this event last year as well, but this year they move on as the #1 seed. They won their first game this morning to advance to the quarterfinals.

 

BG justifying what we all think about them.

Northwest Whitfield, GA just knocked off Bowling Green 26-25 to drop the Purples into the loser's bracket.

DragonFire. I know you are usually correct in all your posts (I do appreciate your love for your team and the respect you show other teams) but I am hoping you are wrong about the Purples losing. On the southeastern website it shows Purples defeating Northwest. Am I missing something? I know its just a summer tourney but I am hoping Purples can win it. Any info would be appreciated. Good luck to your boys this Fall!

It is a double elimination tourney. Currently Bowling Green has advanced to the final four teams in the tourney. BG will play the winner of Fletcher, FL and NW Whitfield, GA (Whitfield being the team that beat them earlier).

Purples just beat Florida team and now plays powerhouse Cartersville, Ga. Winner will then play Colquitt County in Finals. 2 very tough teams
