...and you could argue that BG played very poorly...both are moot points and both are arguments about a season that is now over....I would say JH ought to be feeling pretty good about this year; everyone is picking BG and JH becomes the team with nothing to lose...all the pressure is on the Purples.

It can be argued John Hardin should have won. I don't think I would step as far as to say they gave it away. They had a defensive lapse, or more to the point they got beaten by an extremely well executed play. John Hardin got them on their own field, came in with an excellent gameplan, played very well.... and still lost.

 

I can and will argue they missed their shot. Bowling Green returns nearly every significant player from last year. I'm fairly certain John Hardin cannot say the same.

From what I've heard from a couple coaches around the state, BG is pretty loaded this year led by a stud QB. One coach said he'd be surprised if they lost an in state game, but John Hardin would be the biggest competition.

John Hardin and Warren Central are both tough to beat. I think St. X. Will be the toughest game for the Purples this year.
