Don't get me wrong, I have been a little bit of a Palmer apologist myself and I want to see Carson do well in Zona. However, this is still interesting as a Bengals fan and that is why I posted it.

Not sure how to title it, Carson disses defenses or Carson likes AZ defense? Depends on how it was intended. I just have a different idea of what constitutes smack.

I'd vote for banning any threads involving Palmer, the city of Pittsburgh, Tubby or the Bull Puppy.

I plan on a steady diet of Palmer/Card football threads and plenty of anti-Pittsburgh threads.

Surely the great Carson Palmer wouldn't be trying to blame his lack of playoff pedigree on the defenses he's played with.... No wonder the fine folks of Cincy threw trash on his lawn ( if that really happened, lol).

In his time here the Bengals only had 1 season where their defense was ranked in the top 10. That was 2009. In 2010 his last year here the Defense was ranked 15th. In his entire time in Cincy the Defense average rank in the NFL was 19th. Not very good.

If you have followed along, it's never Carson's fault... Ask him, or his apologists, they got a million things to blame his lack of success, other than the simple fact that he just sucks.

 

No its quite simple when people like you say he sucks, then people will say why he does not suck its very simple. He does not suck, but as I have said I was wrong and he is not as good as I thought. As Cats has just said he is the middle of the road QB no more no less. It will be interesting to see how he does this year.

 

I mean just think if he does go out and has a huge year, does that mean all the things people said were right that you called excuses? haha

In 2009 his last year the defense was very good. However the only receiving threat he had was OchoCinco who at that time didn't care about football anymore, and liked his own routes better and not getting to the right depth. The #2 receiver was Coles, and I don't even know who the TE was. Wait a minute forget everything I just said, I forgot as Mal would say those are just excuses instead of facts. My bad.
