Why can't Danny Green hang out with the Heat after the game? I'm not seeing the issue.

So because he plays for the Spurs he can't hang out with them after the season is over? This whole issue makes no sense. It's not like he was out with them right before game 7, it was after the last game....Maybe he wanted to unwind after losing to the Heat.

 

He can do whatever he wants to. Personally, I'd be madder than a hornet that I choked in the final 2 games of the series and coughed up the NBA championship.

 

Then again, I guess I"m just old school. I guarantee you I wouldn't be partying with some guys who just beat me. That's like going to dinner with the guy who just stole your wife, IMO.

No different in HS. I would have never hung out with a player from another school. Nowadays they all know each other through Facebook, Twitter, etc.

10yrs ago I would have had an issue with this. But whoever brought up AAU and social media is right. These guys all know each other and have spent a ton of hours together growing up on the AAU circuit. They are all friends in the off-season. It's a different culture now.

 

But I doubt he was partying with the Heat. At the same club. Said congrats and a picture got snapped. They don't even look like they are in the same section with Lebron being elevated from him and leaning down.

 

On another note...not a great picture of Puff Daddy either. Starting to look chubby.

Around this way the adults take the Boyle County/Danville rivalry more serious than the players do. They all hang out together immediately after the game. It is weird but I've had time to adjust to it. What was I going to tell my kid? No, you can't hang out with him...he's an Admiral and you're a Rebel. :lol: :lol:

Danny Green did not party with us on Thursday night. He came to say congrats and I told him how proud of him I was for taking advantage....

On a side not about Mashburn and Howard. It also goes back to the AAU days. I know Weber, Rose and Howard all knew each other from the AAU and camp circuit. In fact during that game Rose and Weber at the least when talking trash to Mashburn were reminding him of those days. The social media stuff is new but the camps/AAU stuff and becoming friends that way is much older than many realize.
