Kentucky's receiving corps just got even thinner

Long term I agree 100%. This is just weird considering there were so few on the roster. Sweat is leaving for academic reasons, and Bookie... Well he is just being Bookie...

I hate that about Sweat, I really thought he had a lot of talent. I was expecting him to do some big things in the Air Raid next season, tough blow for him and UK.

Sucks from a football perspective but I'm glad it's being done. Shows that this staff means business on and off the field.

Bookie's mom says she was shocked and that it's not due to academics.

Might these moves might help the N. Ky. walk on guys - Sheehan, Fogle - get playing time? I am sure it will be very difficult for Fogle as a freshman walk on, but strange things can happen. Now you have Lucas Witt leaving the baseball team and walking on as well.

I'm sure we'll have some kind of rumor about him at some point.

Maybe the coaches didn't like his work ethic, attitude, etc.? It's a new ship, either get on it, or get out of the way

Where does Sheehan currently stand in the UK receiving corps "pecking order?"

I'd say all of the above will get the chance to show they can help. I think I read Brown likes to run 8 receivers in and out.

No clue but I know Neal Brown singled him out one day during spring practice for having a strong day.

Scuttlebutt at the E/W All Star Game last night was that Fogle may move to scholly and get snaps next year

The coaching staff had been high on him every since they started. One of the reasons he wasn't already on scholarship is because they didn't have any left. Well, now they have some.

Fogle is already moved in to Lexington, enrolled in class, and has had a couple of workouts. With his ability, and work ethic, do not be surprised to see him on the field this year. I know I will not be shocked one bit. I expect him to see him out there quite a bit.

Towles worked out with Fogle recently and praised his skill and work ethic.
