My youngest son asked me if I would let him go to UNC to play basketball if they were the only place to offer him a scholarship. I told him that's not a good hypothetical situation because if he was good enough for UNC then that wouldn't be his only offer so he can go to Duke, UK or UL instead of UNC. :lol:

The Spurs have these games once in a while. I think they will come back and win game 3.

Pretty strong run there by the Heat in the 2nd half.

That was pretty ugly but the Spurs are happy going back 1-1 I'm sure.

Miami just needed to push the lead out a little bit. Easiest way to win a game like this. Pop has never been one to exert too much team energy in a game that isn't a must win. He'll gladly take the split of the first two games and rest his guys. Kind of a loser philosophy but it works.

This is what kills me about Miami. How in the world do they have the choke game on Thursday and come and and obliterate the Spurs today? This Miami team is much closer to playing this way than playing the way they did in game 1.

I got Miami in game 3, Spurs in game 4, then Heat in 5 and 6!

My thoughts that nobody asked for:

1. Figured Miami would win but didn't expect that collapse in the late 3rd by the Spurs.

2. The LeBron block was sick.

3. With the series 1-1 I think the pressure is on SA to win game 3 now. Miami only has to win 1 in SA, though obviously they want more, so if SA loses game 3 that's a bad, bad sign.

4. Parker could not get a call today. Some he didn't deserve, but I couldn't be the only one that noticed this. Not saying he deserved calls, it was just noticable that he wasn't getting them.

5. Miami's bench played well again. I wonder if that will translate on the road.

Like I said a few days ago Kobe and Gasol's Lakers did the same thing. Small margin for error that way though.
