May 22, 201313 yr I know everyone thinks the Reds will be outbid for Chapman by big market teams, but realistically how much will even the big market teams pay for him if we keep him as a closer? Aren't we paying like 7.5 Mil for our set up guy right now? Are closers that much more expensive? While I love Chapman, I've become a pretty firm believe that LeCure could be doing the same thing he's doing without the K's.

But Brox comes off the books in three years when Chap hits the FA market... Whats an extra 2.5/3 Mil a year? As in lose Brox's 7.5M a year for a set up guy, but add Chap's 10M a year...
