Thibodeau fined $35,000 for post-game comments

I thought LeBron flopped as well. He maybe was going down but certainly took on some gun shots after the shove to go down more violently than the Nazr push delivered.

2013 NBA playoffs -- Tom Thibodeau of Chicago Bulls fined $35K for comments - ESPN Chicago

I don't think he flopped. He seemed a little off balance when he received the push and recovered nicely to come to a sliding stop.

I do think Lebron's recovery from the push further proved my point that he purposely bumped Spoelstra outside of the huddle that time in year one.

LeBron may have been going down but he definitely gave it an extra push/flop once he was on his way down.

That is what I mean. He made it a lot more violent than what it really was.

Agreed.

Didn't seem violent to me at all.

You've become such a LeBron homer. :wacky:

I gave him a 9.8 on the landing. Graceful and fluid and the slide was extremely proficient. Excellent recovery.

You've become such a LeBron homer.

So Nazr isn't strong enough to push a slightly off balance Lebron to the floor?

If that was a flop, then he needs to take lessons from any soccer player over the age of 8.

Sure he is. But I still think he embellished it somewhat on the way down because that is what NBA players do.

Also, who in there right mind thought in 2013 we would still be talking about Nazr Mohammed in the NBA? Crazy.

Agreed. He wasn't even facing Nazr when he got pushed. It's easy to see why he went to the deck IMO.

That is crazy. Can't teach height.

He may get another year since Jason Collins will be blackballed next year.

No pun intended.

Thibodeau is right. You're never going to get any calls against Lebron. That's pretty much common knowledge. Lebron knows it.

He may get another year since Jason Collins will be blueballed next year.

No pun intended.

Fixed that typo for you.
