May 7, 201313 yr It wouldn't have bunted. Dusty probably wanted to bunt to move the runner over, that's why he kept him in. I agree that if he pinch hitted there would be no bunt. Not saying I agree with the strategy, but it makes sense if you want to bunt.

Not that big of a deal really but just one of many things I disagree with Dusty on.
