Number 1 seeds in the 33rd, 34th, 35th, and 36th Districts

Featured Replies

In the 34th, Dixie is 1-0 (Lloyd) with seeding games today vs St Henry and Ludlow. The seeding game vs Villa was suspended last week due to rain with Dixie leading 7-0 still batting in the bottom of the 2nd. No idea on makeup date.

As for the rest of the district, I am not sure of standing or results as they have played each other a few times and I don't know which was the seeding game.

I thought they were going to use the game played on 4/27 between Dixie/Villa as the seed game? Dixie 19 Villa 0.

The 35th is a TBD. HC still has CCH and BW. CCH still has HC.

So its possible you could have a 3-way tie at which point I'm not sure how they determine the seeding.

Villa declined that option. They want to continue the postponed game.

Well Dixie opened the door to St Henry and Lloyd in the 34th, with a miserable showing at home tonight. Not sure how the tie breakers work. Anyone?

I'm not sure on the tie-breaker.

In head to head.. Lloyd 6 St.Henry 4, Dixie 5 Lloyd 0, St.Henry 6 Dixie 3.

Ryle should end up top seed in 33rd (currently 2-0), but still has final seeding game against Boone, who is (I believe) also undeafeated within the district (1-0).

Ryle should end up top seed in 36th (

You mean 33rd.

You mean 33rd.

Ryle is having such a stellar season they might be top seed in the 36th as well???

Gotcha. It's like Trinity winning the GCL two years ago.

From KHSAA web site;

(1) The tie-breaking mechanisms (in order) shall be:

a. If the tie remains between all three teams, the record in the second game played against all district opponents involved in the tie.

Pretty random/silly tie-breaker but the way I read it St Henry gets the top seed:ohbrother:

Highlands is the number 1 seed in the 36th.

Ain't that something...especially when best records finally mean something in the 36th.
