Draft Day 2013

Featured Replies

It's finally here and I'm ready

I'm actually hoping the Bengals draft Lacey in the 1st. Although it's really tough to know how well he will do in the NFL behind a bad O-Line. Alabama had one of the best Lines in College so it will be interesting to see how he does at the next level.

We're all slacking to much this year. I don't think we conducted a BGP Mock Draft. New thread starting now.

I usually try to do my own mock but I haven't kept up with the draft at all this year. I hate the new format.

Man oh man I'm so worried about the Browns draft. I know they are looking at Millner at CB but he seems sketchy from a health standpoint.

I don't want them to draft Genome Smith either because they'll be looking for another QB next year. The Browns draft has "mess" written all over it.

Really hope my Jags find some one to move into that second slot. Anyone they get at 2 I feel they can get at 10 talent wise.

If the Bengals draft Lacy I will throw my remote at the TV. Much bigger needs and we already have a power back, it makes no sense to back him up with another power back. Equal value backs they can take in the 2nd or 3rd rounds like Bernard, Franklin, or even Lattimore.

Just out of curiosity, as a Browns fan, who do you want at 6 if not Milliner or Smith?

I think they are still in good shape at 2 to get an elite type player. There shouldn't be a shortage of teams trying to move up for a tackle I would think.

While I wouldn't be so upset to throw the remote, I do agree that I would like Lacy better at 37 than at 21... But I wouldn't like Lattimore in the second round. People with that kinda knee injury just don't go second round.

Worst draft I can remember. No player excites me as a pro prospect. Geno Smith is the number 1 QB in this draft. That is hilarious and horrible at the same time. I'd honestly just roll the dice with Barkley before I'd take Smith.

This draft is full of linemen, WR, safeties that will be in the league for many years.

If Milner's there, they'll take him and pair him with Hayden.

I go back and forth on that. On one hand, I'd be ok with it. Skill positions set for a few years. On the other hand, I think they could use a DE(in case they can't sign Johnson to a long term contract) or a DB.

I'll throw my remote at the TV if they pick a WR. I still think Jones and Sanu are going to be what they need from a WR2.

But would you throw your remote at the TV if they pick different passcatcher (i.e.: Eifert) ?

I just might. Didn't we draft a pretty decent TE last year?

I just don't it works out. I mean I hope it does but just something about his durability that concerns me.
