April 25, 201313 yr Just out of curiosity, as a Browns fan, who do you want at 6 if not Milliner or Smith?. Maybe they trade down. They do not have a 2nd round pick due to getting Josh Gordon in the supplemental draft last year.
April 25, 201313 yr I just might. Didn't we draft a pretty decent TE last year? Who's your target(s) at 21?
April 25, 201313 yr Worst draft I can remember. No player excites me as a pro prospect. Geno Smith is the number 1 QB in this draft. That is hilarious and horrible at the same time. I'd honestly just roll the dice with Barkley before I'd take Smith. I feel you can get the same quality QB you can get in the first round all the way through the third. Which as a Jags fan, I can see them taking a top 5 QB in the second or third round and they could turn out as a good QB.
April 25, 201313 yr Maybe they trade down. They do not have a 2nd round pick due to getting Josh Gordon in the supplemental draft last year. Everyone is wanting to trade down... However, if one of the tackles last to 6, I think they could get a buyer...
April 25, 201313 yr This draft is full of linemen, WR, safeties that will be in the league for many years. I just wonder if some of those guys are overrated. I saw no safeties I would think of as a true game breaker. Starters on an NFL team? Yes, but not anyone is want in the top 10. WR is a crapshoot. Some guys that can play but once again no stars. The Fisher kid may be overrated too.
April 25, 201313 yr As a few have said this class doesn't have the sense of immediate game changers. Not many stand out as cant miss prospects. There is a lot of talent in the draft but I'd hate to pay someone top 5 money just because you gotta pick someone. Lol

Lol I agree, I think the bang for the buck in this years draft will be in the 3rd-4th rounds
April 25, 201313 yr Who's your target(s) at 21? Depends on who's there. My first choice would probably be Vaccaro, but I don't think he'll be there. I wouldn't be disappointed with Carradine. If Lacy's health is not a concern, then I wouldn't mind trading back to 25(if possible) and taking him there. Can't go back any further though because I think if he's there, then GB will take him.
April 25, 201313 yr Michael Rosenberg @Rosenberg_Mike Honestly, when Manti Te'o gets the big phone call tonight, won't he be skeptical? ^ Clizzy retweeted this a bit ago. :lol2:

I agree, and if he is still available when Bengals pick I could see a trade with GB to pick up additional pick(s)
April 25, 201313 yr If I'm the Bengals, I think I see if the 49ers are interested in moving their two second round picks for #21. I know SF wants a S, just like the Bengals, but from everything I've read, the Bengals really like Eric Reid, who doesn't seem to be as intriguing to teams like Baltimore and SF who are also rumored to be looking S. You make that deal and you now have four 2nd round picks, including two in the top 5. This should allow them to still get Reid or Elam, and gives them an additional pick in what (IMO at least) is always the most valuable round of the draft.
April 25, 201313 yr I like your thought process UKMustang, however when in the past have the Bengals ever drafted up. No word on Smith getting signed either. Going to be an interesting journey as always. Hope the Bengals leadership choose wisely!
