They gave the fans a little excitement finally. Not really....the bengals have done this in the past but just like this move they always seem to get those players at the end of their careers or whenever no other teams want them.

Agreed from the football side I really didn't like this move because I don't think he fits a 4/3 defense. However I hope he proves us wrong.

He declined, then made an idiot of himself saying James would play in various places. Now he has an incentive laden contract that can't match what he'd have received had he stayed. Which means the Bengals got a good deal, and James did not.

I just don't see how this works out since IMO he doesn't fit in with what the Bengals do on defense. Who knows, maybe he will be awesome and fit in well but if I had to bet on it id say he will struggle with Cincinnati.
