Having been at Raceland my wish is always for them to go 14-1 with a state championship win. After the first game I hope they win them all. :thumb:

Don't worry Doc, there are those (and I am one) that speak fluid "Ram". That's a entire vocabulary known by only long timers around Raceland. (and that's probably a good thing)

Ramanese is a less known language, but there are still those of us the are fluent in it.

 

Don't worry, the dead period will be over soon and we will see the Rams coming together.

But as we all know, talent and potential don't win ball games.......heart, guts and attitude win ball games. .........

 

Sorry Doc, I'm your buddy, but i disagree....talent and speed wins games! I will agree that the RAMS need more heart and mental toughness to get over the hump this year.

I guess I should clarify.......Yes, you need talent and team speed. We had those last year and you see where it got us. We definitely have to get meaner and play with a lot more intensity or I'll be going to watch more playoff games at Collins again this year.

I heard Nevan Johnson was invited to an "invitation only" camp for the top 30 position linemen at Oklahoma University for July 22nd. Can Ram or anyone else confirm this?

I heard Nevan Johnson was invited to an "invitation only" camp for the top 30 position linemen at Oklahoma University for July 22nd. Can Ram or anyone else confirm this?

Yes, he got his invitation last week. 80% of the players that attend this camp have received D1 scholarships and it is for the top 30 players at each position in each class. Very nice honor for Nevan.

I was just informed that we have 492 career victories in school history. I'm looking forward to celebrating 500 this season!
