He could have, however, let's do our best to reconstruct the scene.

 

This couple went out for drinks, apparently not too many according to court docs. They then went to sleep, I'd assume in the same bed. A couple hours after getting yelled at by the partner, one of the wrestlers that was down stairs, goes upstairs and begins raping a girl that has been asleep for a few hours while her partner is not only in the same room, but in the same bed. The victim wakes up in the middle of the attack and throws off a college wrestler and runs out.

 

Merely having pictures of a guy w/ his pants half down is circumstantial evidence. That is why I'm saying that there have to be more details. Without physical evidence, there is the ability to see that this story isn't completely air tight.

I do. I also believe they were so drunk it could have been consensual. I also believe that they could have been so drunk that no one can piece together what actually happened. I also think that her partner freaked out and snapped some photos. They can do a rape kit, the whole 9 yards and if there's no typical rape trauma, without any solid recollection by either, how can we ever know the truth?

The story is vague and does not make much sense, I hope that the girl was not raped, and that the kid is not guilty of any wrong doing, but I would just like to hear the other side of the story.

My knee-jerk reaction, in most cases of rape, is to always be at least a little bit skeptical. It's the only crime that you can have a "he-said, she-said" case with no evidence, and the public/courts still overwhelmingly side with the accuser.

 

All it takes is someone (male or female) to make a rape accusation and the accused's name/life is forever tarnished or ruined.

I certainly haven't reached a verdict on the matter. I'm sure plenty more information is available. I've only questioned your assumptions.

I think that's always a possibility, but I certainly wouldn't want to judge either way until I saw all the facts.
