March 30, 201313 yr UK probably had more swing and misses recruiting WR's than any other position...Juco Stevie Johnson was nice and converting Cobb worked but UK has recruited some of the worse WR's in history of the SEC. Burton was solid, Abney was good, they've not had the worst in the world but I see your point.

March 31, 201313 yr I seen pictures from practice on another site. Miles Simpson is one picture, Towles in a couple and Sheehan if a few pictures. I think Towles and Sheehan connection will help Towles be the starter.

April 2, 201313 yr How can anyone get a grasp on the QB race from last year? Smith was hurt early, Whitlow was inconsistent w/ his accuracy, and Towles didn't start practicing with the first 2 teams until about week 6 of the regular season. When he did go in, his average starting field position was the 10 yard line. Too small of a sample, really for all 3. Smith, by far, had the best command last year, but he also had a year's experience and all of Spring to claim the spot.
