Anderson beat Manual 69-33. That's not even.

C'mon, you going with that? Brossart, a very average team up here also beat Manual that day. As I recall, Manual was missing players and going a very tough time at that point in the season.

If I recall also, Anderson was lucky to make it out of their own region to a team that most 9th region teams beat. ND dominated our region this year and you barely beat a team that had a losing record against our region. So don't get all high and mighty comparing scores. Anderson has a nice team, but the two teams that play in the finals are the finals. If ND and Anderson were to play, I would definitely pick ND at this point in the season! You can read in the paper and see the polls all you want, but ND is the better team right now and they are showing it.

Marion is a tough matchup for anyone and should win the finals (sorry Pandas), but please go away with a 23 point blowout boasting that was really the finals. Maybe thru your goggles.

But ND was not one of those 9th region teams to beat Simon Kenton. Simon Kenton beat ND 7 on ND's home floor. Simon Kenton never lost two many games they finished 28-6.

Still trying to figure that one out! Ever heard a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile? Because then SK lost to HHS, Boone, crushed by Conner, barely beat NCC and Holy Cross. So half of SK's losses were to 9th region teams. The same region that ND dominated. We can play this game all day, but the fact of the matter is, ND is just as good as Anderson and the only people that would have felt that was the finals are people from Anderson Co. Period!

That team your referring to that Anderson barely beat also beat ND at Notre Dame. Watch the regional finals for the last 2:30 and watch how many fouls the hometown favorites got from the officials. Up by 10 and SK couldn't get an honest call. As for ND and Marion County, 2 of the best in the state! It's also ashame that Highlands didn't make it to the sweet 16! That's a great looking team also. Here's to hoping ND can bring home a state championship!

@RCC9. ND also lost to Walton Verona and won by 1 against Holy Cross. I wouldn't disrespect any of these young ladies for there successes! A squirrel and nut analogy is a little childish for a grown man to compare the accomplishments of any of these teams. Why don't you just call it what it is, ND and Marion Co both belong where they are cause they've weathered their storms and came out on top!

That's really my point from the beginning. For someone to say the finals were already played, insinuating that the Anderson/Marion game was the "real" finals is ridiculous. Not saying that any of the other teams are bad, just saying they are all very close and justifying why the opening statement is so bad. Then all the SK folks get their feelings hurt and jump in with "well SK beat ND" Again, we can do this all day, HHS beat both Walton and SK. ND beat HHS By 17 and 19. Again, ridiculous to say Anderson was the clear second best team in the state.

Yes Ma'am! It's funny, the person posts "Probably this was the state final in most peoples opinion" and I'm the disrespectful one! That's funny. How am I disrespectful. Because I was very surprised that SK beat ND. Very surprised. Good win for SK, but still puzzeled. Because if you look back at it, that was really SK's biggest win and all you come on here and use "Heck, ND and Walton beat them" to justify the original posters comments. Thats where the blind squirrel comment come in. Yes they beat them and good teams lose games from time to time, but way more folks than just me were very surprised at those outcomes. I'll give you THE ND win as a good win. But it doesn't mean that Anderson is the second best team in the state.
