If one reads the fine print at the bottom of that scoreboard that you are using as you avatar, one will note that Frosh wins do not compute into Varsity State Championships Just sayin...

Vonhandorf is a nice player, not sure about the best but a nice player. The only issue I see is that while he is working on jump shots these other kids are getting ready for football. I eventually see him giving up football for basketball, really great basketball player. Ryle has a QB that can play the position at a high level also.

 

Yes he is a really great basketball player- not much football to get ready for when you're in the 8th grade.

Nice player? Dominating is a little more accurate. Best 8th grade QB in NKy and I saw them all- incl Racke over at SK.

I think that Cody Buckler, Conner will be one of the best freshman qbs, if he plays freshman.,

Part of developing a freshman team is finding potentially good players, finding what they like to do and then plugging them into the proper spots.

Winning may not be the top focal point, however, as long as they keep score players, coaches, parents and fans want to have success

Teaching young players love for the game, working together to achieve a common goal, being successful by working as part of a team.

Those are attributes we want to install in our young people. Working to be a little better each day seems to take care of all the other distractions.

Tanner was the QB on the Frosh team last year as an 8th grader, He is an excellent passer, can read defenses,

has a great work ethic. A definite up and commer

He is currently working with Mike Parker and is doing a training film for Trent Dilfer's organization out West

Really??? What has that gotten Ryle so far at the varsity level.. I will say this as long as HHS has Dale and Ryle has Bryson I will take the Birds 99/100 times..JMO

Been hearing great things about young Mr. Buckler. I have also heard great things about this class of boys who apparently dominated their division last year and went undefeated. This should be a fun group to watch this season. I wonder if they will stay together at the Frosh level or if some may move up and play some JV ball. Can't wait to see these guys on the field this fall.

They don't keep much as far as statistics in the league. Now that Cooper Jags And Union Raiders are in existence the other schools kids can be lumped together more. At first I was against the new teams, as I coached in the league. ( bcpwfl )But I came around, even let my kid play for union his last year. Turned out good for all the schools.
