I would like to see the entire flight industry grow some you know what and say not on their planes.

Now, you guys know that the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a knife is a good guy with a knife. This shouldn't be a problem at all now that law abiding citizens can carry knifes on planes, they will stop any bad guys.

Recently on a trip I stashed a digital camera battery and charger in an obscure pouch on a 'wheelie'. It did show up on x-ray and they search and kept asking if I had a hard drive in it. I had completely forgotten about the battery and charger being in there. They never found it doing the hand search (and neither did I until the next trip).

 

TSA is mostly a feel good routine to 'assure the public'. I have had people who used to be in clandestine ops tell me about tricks on how to by-pass their routine. Never did and never will try them but the 'pros' know its just dog and pony show mostly.

TSA made sure to beat the sequester to update their duds apparently.....
