Due to the threat of snow tonight the 8th region final has been moved to Wednesday at 7:00.

Kenton Co has canceled all activities after 7pm tonight.

 

Last weather report I heard so no snow until after midnight.

Ok before I start judging.................did Oldham cancel or did the Kenton County schools canceling of events force them to cancel?

I know Kenton did for sure (that doesn't mean Oldham didn't say yeah were not playing this as well) But Kenton co has cancelled ALL activities after 7pm tonight.

Better safe than sorry. There is plenty of time for the game later in the week. This does buy time for SK to put together a game plan vs. Anderson though.

A 7 pm game gets you back on the bus by 9:30 and back to Independence by 11:15. I'd say the cancellation is reasonable.

Given the distance that both teams have to travel, probably a smart decision by all, if the weather is to be severe. Not only do you have to worry about getting a couple of buses there, but the fans as well.

I wouldn't want to be stuck anywhere between Goshen and Independence. Besides, not to many hotels along the way want to deal with a bunch of young ladies celebrating a regional championship!!! Thinking positive:thumb:

That is right SK canceled the game. With 41 deg temps at game time looks like tomorrow's forecast is worse.

If I am Anderson I am not liking this.

Move them back to the 9th. Start the petition NOW!!!!!

Looks like it was the right call now. Things aren't good and they're getting worse. I'd say interstates will be good by tomorrow afternoon. I hope they get it in tomorrow.
