Thats why you seed the district! Happy for newport hey they made the regional but that could have been NCC against Notre Dame tonight and i would have gone to the game and no i dont have a dog in the fight!

Really..................game could have been 90 to 5 if they wanted.....Wow!

It is just his perspective. Seemed like a nice guy, who was totally into the game from start to finish. Do I wish they would seed, yes. Do I understand his points, perhaps.

Well his Boys coach or the AD or someone voted to seed next year so they will have to earn a Region berth next year

Maybe Newport should of played some stall ball. Then 5 points at half wouldn't look as bad. Wow. No district seeding= 1st round regional beat down. Earn your way in don't back your way in.

Well first of all Newport came out and broke the Notre Dame press on the first 6 trips only to miss wide open lay ups and three foot shots. The freshman were nervous but did a nice job of handling press but could not finish.................Also had a few trips in first quarter where they got multiple shots........obviously all misses. Instead of bashing them for being their I will congratulate the very young team on showing poise and for playing hard the entire game.............Ran some offensive sets that got them many and I mean many wide open looks that they could not put down................ #23 has a very nice game and is only a freshman. Thanks for looking at the positive. All student athletes should get a taste of the game at this level, it will only push them to return. Nice to see a coach who believes in his team and in engaged for the entire game. Lady Cats represented themselves, thier families and their school with pride.

I do agree it has to be exciting for those that could never have a chance to experience a big venue without some luck, so I say good for you.

None of the 4 teams had much of a crowd at all....................

From the looks of the picture in post#9, it looks like a "ghost town".
