Crowd, small but supportive. Not unlike previous girls 1st round games.

Cheerleaders from Newport had a blast and their band too. Great to see them having a blast even with the score as lopsided as it was.

Who coaches Newport?

Thats why you seed the district! Happy for newport hey they made the regional but that could have been NCC against Notre Dame tonight and i would have gone to the game and no i dont have a dog in the fight!

Even if NCC would have played, the attendance would have been similar, final outcome would have been the same, and I wouldn't have considered attending. Congratulations to Newport on having their fun night.

Kent Vories.

Is that Kent? He was my next door neighbor when he was married and I was in jr high.

Really good dude.

He seems like a really good dude. He seems to do a great job with the kids. I have no idea how good of a coach he is, but I have admired his demeanor and the way he handles his kids. It's probably not the easiest place to coach, but I really like him from watching.

I'm here to tell you when he came off the court and into the press room at BOK he was pumped. He was so happy for his girls to have the BOK experience. I gained a ton of respect for him at this time. And he wasn't speaking to the press as it was just he and I. Waiting on the restroom to clear. FYI, coach before hack picture taker. Need I say more.

And before Lawnboy asks, no pictures of this part of the event. I have my limits.
