Shouldnt really matter you should play to win the game which CC hasn't done much this year. Not really a quality win considering the circumstances. I'll take Scott full strength now, next week, march over campbell.

I will agree with you about Dixon, and say Smith has done a good job on the JV level, but Scott only has a few players on the bench right now that are ready to play varsity and that is Miller & Felts.

I agree, having seen both several times; that Sharp's absence really makes a big difference, epsecially on offense. Plus Whitehead being out and throw in Howard's foul trouble equals not a very impressive victory for the Camels, but they can only play who shows up for the other team!! The rematch, with a likely trip to the Fieldhouse on the line; should be fun to watch!!

One last thing to add to your comment is that Sharp is their second leading scorer at around 12 points a game behind Howard's 16 point average.

Dixon will not see more minutes, guaranteed. He got minutes last night because Scott was missing Whitehead & Sharp.

I guess the second game will depend as well on the ability of those two players to become academically eligible at the time of the district.......

Dixion sure defends alot better than the other Guards they have if the starters can develope a passion to play D like the guys on the bench can Scott would be alot better....Got to play both ends of the court....Why wouldnt Dixion play more..... He is the best on ball defender on that team. Smith is a decent shooter, but he isn't the best shooter Scott has on Varsity.

 

Let me ask you this question, I think Coach Carr knows talent and if Dixon and Smith are as good as you say, wouldn't he play them more than a minute or two, but he doesn't does he. This should answer your question.
