Hatton looked more determined tonight than I have seen him in a while, both offensively, and defensively. Sophomores Hedger and Niehaus were solid, and even Strong got into the mix. A good team game for Dixie. Congrats to them!

Congrats to Coach Chevy and the Colonels. They will be a tough out in the region tourney and with the right draw could make their way in to the finals.

I just want to say here, that I was at this game tonight and I was sitting in front of two older men who should be ashamed of themselves. They were just bashing (for lack of a better word) many of the younger players for Dixie. I understand being critical, but to curse about them and rip them for virtually nothing was absurd and very annoying to sit by them.

 

Not to mention they seemed senseless about the game (even though I heard one of them say he was a coach). They called every FT a miss, even though most they called were subsequently made.

 

After all that, they were cheering for Dixie when they won. So, I'm assuming one, or both, of them had players on the team that weren't playing, or playing well.

 

Just disturbing. I guess I'm posting this to remind everyone that these are JUST kids!

Perfect example of why I usually try to sit away from everyone when I'm at a game. People forget these are HIGH SCHOOL KIDS.

I love the St Henry seniors! Darius Meiman, Michael Best, Ben Hils, Zach Carr, Mitchell Kuebbing. Awesome guys that will be greatly missed next year.
