How Many NBA PGs Are Better Than...

Featured Replies

He's #4 on my list as of right now. Another year or two and he's probably #1.

1) CP3

2) DRose

3) Rondo

4) Irving

If Rose comes back 90% he is still my #1. I like Irving a lot but before I move him past other PGs I'm going to have to see him win some playoff games. Rose,Parker,CP3, Westbrook and Rondo are still my top 5.

I would have to put Irving #1 because of how he does more with less IMO. The Celtics have talent and showed they can play and win without Rondo. The Bulls are showing they have a lot of talent and can win without Rose. So for me it really comes down between CP3 and Irving, and even though I love CP3 I hate to say I would give Irving the nod.

I have him at 3. Rose and CP3 are team changers and Kyrie is getting there. He may end up being the best of the bunch but I can't say he's better than either. Paul is Batman in the 4th quarter, whatever his team needs him to be. Rose us a transcendent talent that maybe raises his team ceiling higher than any other point guard right now.

I'd have Rondo fourth. Westbrook isn't a point guard he just brings the ball up the floor.

CP3 basically carried NO the entire time he was there and they always finished better than what Cleveland is doing. Irving is good, but to say he's the best just because his team sucks, is extremely flawed logic. The Cavs wouldn't be much worse without him. They can't get much worse.

I love DRose, but it's not like he's playing with what Irving is playing with. The Bulls sans Rose are still very good and in the mix in the East

I think he's 2nd to CP3. So the answer is 1.

A healthy Derrick Rose is better as well, if he is 100% when he returns. In general, today, I agree with you.

But it's not like Irving has made the Cavs into a playoff team. He's playing with garbage but if you trade places a healthy Rose outs Cleveland in the playoffs in the East and Chicago still doesn't get past Miami. JMO :thumb:

Disagree. Cleveland is horrible. Horrible. Nobody can put them in the playoffs. Not this year. Not any year since Lebron left.

I think the only two guys in the league that automatically put a team in the playoffs are LeBron and Rose IMO. I would guess that Durant would as well. Any team. Bobcats included. The talent in Cleveland now is better than what LeBron took to the finals. That was the worst collection of talent to make it past the first round of the playoffs that I've ever seen. Rose and Durant could get bad teams to the playoffs as well.

I'd take him over Rajon, he's a much better offensive player. It will be interesting to see how Rajon fares without three HOF'ers in the lineup.

Naw, they got Luke Walton. Their talent is still putrid. I don't think Rose can get that team to the playoffs. How? They aren't so different.......
