Final in the 35th.

Awesome win for the Lady Dogs. On to the region. You never know how these girls will play.

WOW!!!!, great big WOW!!!

Nice win for Holmes and yeah take a stab at ND .....and even then maybe draw the 36th loser in first round and bingo hello semis where anything can happen. Tough season for Holy Cross losing in All-A and first round of districts.

Great game by the Lady Bulldogs. Turner was a force putting up 23pts. and being a floor leader. Several players stepped up and contributed big minutes.

Nice win for the Lady Dogs. Holmes jumped out to a big half time lead Turner was hot in the second quater, Holy Cross fought back but couldn't get over the hump. Beal had a 3 go in and out to tie it with about 5 seconds to go. I have no idea what the total was but it felt like HC missed about 20 free throws.

I'm not surprised. Congrats to the Lady Bulldogs.

Congrats to Holmes on the victory last night. Not the cleanest of games played, but both teams played extremely hard and left everything they had on the court. Scary moment in the game was when one of the referee's called an offensive fouls on a Holmes player (easy call as she extended the arm and pushed off) and a fan comes out of the front row and 2-3 steps on the court after the ref. The ref immediately signaled for game management and had the fan thrown out of the gym. No matter how bad you think a call is, you can NEVER go onto the court after the referee. Kudos to Beechwood's administration for handling this situation swiftly and correctly.

To make it worst the female who got ejected then goes into the stands and grabs her small child and basically carry's the child by the arm cussing at everyone who said don't take it out on the kid.

Luckly the female left on her own, I don't think Beechwood's admin had anything to do with it.

Actually the fellow from Holmes should be credited for this. There was no security/police at the district games last night. The Beechwood people were powerless. It was a Holmes person that persuaded that lady to leave and there was one other adult causing problems. Beechwood's people were asleep at the wheel for not having any police presence at these games.

I saw the folks in red shirts and I just assumed it was Beechwood folks. Kudos to whomever escorted her out. The game was too hard fought to have something like that happened. The ref's have enough to keep track of on the court, they shouldn't have to worry about the folks in the stands coming on to the court. I was surprised there wasn't a police officer at the game also.
