M#A#S#H which actor is better?

I think Frank and Charles are about on an even playing field. Frank was basically just a comedic foil, and Charles was a more developed character who was also a foil - Charles was better acted, but I like them both.

Colonel Potter was too great not to beat out Colonel Blake. I think everybody who watched the show new someone in real life like him; for me, my "someone like him" was my grandpa.

Trapper was better than BJ. BJ was a great sidekick and friend to Hawkeye, but Trapper's character could stand up on its own without assistance from Hawkeye.

Radar kills Klinger. No question about it. There are only so many jokes you can make about a guy dressing in drag. Once he took over as company clerk, he managed to get even more boring. His character was nothing but a whiny Lebanese Mud Hens fan with a taste for hotdogs.

Anyone ever read the novel by Richard Hooker/Hornberger? I've got it sitting under a pile of books somewhere at my house with the intention of reading it, but I've never gotten to it.

At first when I was younger I didn't like MASH either. But as time went. I sat down one day and watched, thought it was kind of entertaining and toned in the next episode and I was hooked after that.

Loved the movie version too. Gary Burgoff was the only original cast member that also was on the TV series.

Funny you say that. Though I did attempt that with MASH, and I have watched many MASH episodes, it still never caught on with me. However, that very thing did work with me on old westerns my dad used to watch that I couldn't stand when I was younger. I now find myself watching and liking many of them, from Gunsmoke to The Big Valley and everything in between. Funny how that works sometimes.

I'm not familiar with the Lebanese Mud Hens.

Klinger: When I get out of this man's Army it'll be the right way, with a Section 8.

Pottor to Burns: Either you or Klinger is nuts, I just have to figure which one.

Actually met Loretta "Hot Lips" Switt in Indianapolis at a some kind of event. She was very sweet and pleasant enjoyed meeting her.
