you can't leave her open! HHS did a pretty good job on her (holding her under her total), but as soon as she had an open look, it was a no-doubter! You can mark it down.

I can take it! I'm a big boy! But I won't respond on my own sport over there. So I'll have to just take it! Or figure out a way to go unnoticed!

 

But remember, high school coaches are there to make the kids better people and prepare them the best they can for the future. I wish more coaches looked at it this way. We'll put in the hard work, you can believe that! Hopefully it translates into wins for the girls. But if it doesn't, I'm confident they will walk away learning something and how to deal with what life hands you. They will be extremely challanged and always know where they stand. And they won't get away with using ANY excuses!

SK looked flat and tired. Game was a 1 point game with a couple minutes to go in the half before Conner went up by 5 at half. Conner came out in the third and burned the nets. SK offense anemic against the Conner zone and the Pioneers just didn't seem to have the energy or gumption to compete.

 

For whatever reason, the Pioneers have taken a dive in late January as they have now lost two out of their last three games. In 2012, they went 0-4 between 1/17 and 1/24, in 2011, they went 0-5 between 1/15 and 1/28. Good news for the SK fans, they usually bounce back with a strong February.

 

Good luck to both of these teams the rest of the season.
