I have had the pleasure to watch Jordan Scott play the majority of her games this season and will admit that I am somewhat biased but there may be another player from another team (Kiernan, Beal, Voskuhl, Schaeffer) who has done as much as Jordan but I don't think any of them are more valuable to their respective team as she is. She comes ready to play every night and gets called upon to do quite a bit for the Lady Cougars. In my opinion Jordan Scott is the frontrunner for 9th Region Player of the Year.

Theres alot of tremendous players in the 9th with alot of the names BIGZIG mentioned and alot of them could be deserving of the player of the year. Some might mean more to there team but that doesnt take away anything from anyone else. I think you can flip a coin on this one???? :idunno:

I am with you on this one BZ! With the emergence of the myers girl teams are no longer going to be able to doubleteam MS. scott. They are going to be scary good!

Player of the year is always interesting, but we must see who carries their team throughout the upcoming district games and regionals that mark the teams success. That is the mark of the true POY. These current games are just games. All players mentioned and more have great stats but the real tests of players value are coming.

Jordan bumped into me in the stands during the JV game and she apologized twice to me. I told her don't worry about it. She is very polite. Her family should be very proud of her.
