Cooper 59 Conner 48

BTW all bigs should watch some of the moves in the post that Shelton showed last night. Really strong.

I think Shelton has improved the most since last year. Like you said, he has some great moves in the post and last nightin the first half made a great move with 2 defenders all over him ( I think it was Padgett and Barker) and was able to score with a great move.

When Cooper's Bigs play the way they did last nite it's tough to handle them. This team is deep and when the Bigs do their thing and the guards continue shoot well teams have to pick their poison. If Morgan can be consistent the way he was last nite and be aggressive going to the basket he adds another problem for most teams in the 9th region. Good production vs. Conner as he had 8 assts and only 1 TO last nite.

I'm curious what the Holmes players at the game last night were thinking. I think Cooper has really played their best ball of the year in just the last week. I don't think they want to face Cooper again if they had their choice.

Clyde, you were on the other side and may have had a better view. Did you feel it was a charge?

By rule, yes. He clearly put his shoulder into the middle of the defender who was clearly in legal guarding position.

The extra speed at which he went to the ground just helped make it an easier call.

And it's interesting that you knew I was on the other side. I've got to do a better job at keeping a low profile. :D

The green shoes give you away.

I always wanted to be a detective and wish at times I would have went that way. I know a whole bunch of people on here and some don't think I know who they are!!:D

There should be a whole lot more offensive fouls if that is the rule. Guess it depends on who is holding the whistle.

Not real hard detective work to guess which side each one of you would be sitting on.

Manti Te'o wants to hire you

Played many games against Shelton this summer at Boone Woods and the kid is as strong as an ox. I'm 38 years old and not slight of build and he is a man. Seems like a very hard working and seems to like the dirty work. The 9th should be a pretty good show, which style will win it all?

The two Drews (Shelton and Barker) battling in the post was fun. Two big strong cats. Odd to think one is a DL/OL and the other is a QB.

Even when the two QB's were next to each other. Both strong for their size. Of course it got a chuckle from the Cooper side when Tyler blocked Drew's shot. Two good athletes.

Drew Shelton has really been the unsung hero of the Jags squad. Glad to see he's getting recognized now for all the hard work and hard play on the court.
