That may have been meant as a joke, but realistically that is what they did. They hit the ball very well and put up a lot of runs in the first two games. Then timely hitting in the finals helped them beat Powell. I think they scored 10+ runs in the first two games against Whitesburg and Knott.

i think the arguments said earlier in this post have already possibly ruled melton out of the top 3 or 5...all an opinion but based on facts

I disagree. Lee was the best team in the region last season. They had players that were better than most. I don't even think that Leslie or Powell were better. Leslie had the hitters and Powell pitching, but still, I believe that Lee was the team to beat.

 

I respect your opinion, though. I look forward to the debates we should have. :thumb:

 

I don't think that Lee was better than Powell last year simply because Powell beat them 2 of 3 including in the district finals. But I do think that Lee was better than PCC and Leslie. If Lee would have got past a tough KCC team last year in the first round it would have been a little different for PCC, i think. But that was last year this is this year and Lee is the best team this year
