Holmes 60 Scott 59

Featured Replies

Refs were bad for both sides but the worst call of the night was Chames put back, the ball was on the rim all he did was dunk it in.

Are you saying they called goaltending? If so it is correct by your description.

Bolden had his worst game of the year...plain and simple. Still, some of the moves he made tonight show that he is hands down the most talented kid in the region. He simply didn't adjust to how the game was being called.

Bolden finished 6-8 from the field, 0-3 from 3pt, and was 2-4 from the charity stripe. Not a bad night, honestly

Scott did a great job double and triple teaming him and trying to get the ball out of his hands.

They are looking for D-1 skills and they won't make final judgement on one high school game. They are probably determining if he's worth exploring further. They will want to see him against much better players than he sees in the 8th, 9th, and 10th Region. AAU will be the measuring stick, usually not high school games. There are some nice players in northern Kentucky, but very few with D-1 skill sets. He's a sophomore, they have time.

I heard the conversation after the game and I can confirm that Davis liked what he saw....

Chames put back dunk wasn't close to a goaltend.

He caught the ball above the cylinder and threw it down with two hands.

Might've been....I was just pointing out that the ball wasn't laying on the rim like Sports Fan stated.

No they did not call goaltending and that was a bang bang play, but Clyde these three refs were the worst I have seen in a few years. They were inconsistent and could never have a possession without them blowing their whistle for a foul or violation. Officials are supposed to be in theory invisible in the game and these three must have thought it was about them and not the players.

Holmes AD was very vocal and he let the refs have it and rightly so.

Thanks for explaining my argument. Total game changer there!

How bad were the refs?

Booher got T'd up because a ref said he cussed at him.

Now, anyone that knows Jason knows that he doesn't cuss. He was in the coach box, play was at the other side of the court on Scott side, and he signaled for a walk. Ref T'd him up. By far one of the worst calls I've seen this year.

LUckily, the bad call didn't cost Holmes.

Thanks for explaining my argument. Total game changer there!

As Tiger said, bang bang play.

Unless you have video to replay it, not sure you can make an argument one way or the other.

Proud of how the Scott guards held Bolden down tonight... Keep playing hard Eagles, goal is still to win district and 10th region.

correct spelling of Bolden

Best player in the region?? Hahahahaha let's be real. Top 3 for sure, but not the best. All Bolden does is run his mouth too. If it was a game of trash talk, he wins hands down!

He didn't say best player he said most talented. Big difference.

Eagles played hard. They are tough at home. Every time Holmes made a run, they had an asnwer.

Palmer was the difference tonight. He played very well and hit big shot after big shot when Scott went up 6. Booher said that him moving to the 2 is a huge advantage, basically having your starting pg from the past two years out there as a secondary ball handler. He is the leader of this team and it really showed tonight.

In the end, Holmes defense won this game. Coach Booher was also pleased with how well Housely played off the bench. He has played well at the JV level the past few games so Coach Booher decided to throw in there tonight. Did a great job during clutch situations and got the big rebound at the end of the game that led to Englemon's game winning FT.
