Good work LB. When I walked in there for the first time my chin hit the floor! A completely different world from what we had to work with in my day. I hope the young Breds know how good they got it!!

The school system will never have the funds to build it with school $ If the Raiders expect to compete on the 6A level

they have to at least have a respectable weight room, one that can hold more than just a few kids at a time.

Mirrors teach kids and lifters in general to watch themselves lift. They need to be able to have the body awareness to feel proper position. That can't happen while staring at yourself in movement. It's not a YMCA. It's a weightroom used by athletes. Not training mirror muscles to look good. Training movements to get bigger, faster and stronger and to become better athletes.

That's what NewCath did. Eddie did a great job raising funds for the school renovation.

Didn't Dave Cowens offer a large sum if the school created a weight room as part of their last capital campaign? Similar to the other fellow who made a donation for the addition of the chapel?

I'm not sure. I wouldn't be surprised. He's come to quite a few alumni golf outings and things. He seems like a great dude.
