Congrats to Bishop Brossart's Justin Saunders for scoring his 1,000 points last night. Huge accomplishment.

Congrats to Justin. Great accomplishment.

Way to go Justin.

I've had the privilege of watching him score all 1,009 and am very proud and happy for him.

He can be a beast, and last night was a beast. A nice group of talented players surrounding him helps.

I'm also happy for Senior Ben Uebel who has been playing alongside of Saunders since at least the fifth grade. They've done some incredible thngs together.

Congratulations Justin. Great job!

Congratulations to Justin. Stay healthy and keep it going J.

Congratulations Justin!

Your talents, commitment to AAU ball over the years, and having some coaches that have believed in you along the way have ALL contributed to your success. Enjoy your style of play and your unselfishness on the court. Hope you and the Mustangs continue to have a successful year.

Mustang yet another great post. I saw where the first thing Justin mentioned on the interview was his teammates. The Uebel-Saunders combination has equalled a lot of wins for St Mary's, mini mustangs, AAU teams, and Brossart. Good to see Both get a shout out in the all A 10th region review as top players. Every game I have seen Saunders play you walk out of the gym and say wow, didn't realize he had that many. Uebel has been by his side and while he never stuffs the stats sheets, he does a great job as a leader on the court and the ultimate smart team player.

All very deserving. IMO, you can't go by stats alone. Each player fits into the puzzle and plays their role. Why BB has been so successful this year.

Congrats Justin, and to his Mom, Dad, Brother and Grandparents who've taken the time to witness all of it--Great job and continue the run!!
