Ignorant, just plain ignorant. Some people just need to be slapped.

It's just right down the road from me. I just may have to slap him if I see him.

"It's just a joke."

I lived in Liberty when I was in first grade.

That means you have heard that joke before.

Nobody said he doesn't have a right to make it and put it in his yard. He exercised that right. I am exercising my right to call him an idiot that makes good people in Liberty, Hustonville and Kentucky look bad. You're quick to say you aren't racist and have black friends and you're also quick to defend the racists as well. Folks like you who are misunderstood should despise folks like this that makes your misunderstandings so glaring.

Details often seem to escape you.

Oh like I don't know it is a racist statement, I mean a black guy eating watermelon. I'm sure all you would praise a guy if he put George Bush face on there eating bull balls. Sure the guy is an idiot, as a matter of fact he is stupid. But because it makes fun of A black guy it is so news worthy. I'm shocked Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton aren't there protesting. That stupid mannequin shouldn't even be on the news.

I thought the guy who hung Santa Clause in his yard did worse.

How is hanging Santa (fake) worse than a racist statue of Obama (Real)????? Please explain that logic.

You don't believe, you don't receive!

All I know is when watermelon is in season, I eat 2 a week. I grew up in Mississippi and nothing made those hot summer days more bearable than watermelon and snow cones!

Does anyone know where the stereotypes of racism with food began?

How is hanging Santa (fake) worse than a racist statue of Obama (Real)????? Please explain that logic.

Little kids see a black guy eating watermelon, big deal, they are not old enought to be racist or understand.

Little kids see Santa being hung is wrong because they see Santa as more than just a person.

Of course it is no big deal to hang Santa to you because you know he isn't real, and I'm glad you know that and don't have the mind of a little kid who doesn't understand.

I wouldn't praise a racist sign about George Bush. And it's not just a black guy. It's an overtly racist sign about the POTUS. Racist statues of black guys are on the porches of many Kentucky homes in the form of those lawn jockeys. That's not news. Racist statues about the POTUS in our backyards are newsworthy.
