Chapman talked about "his beard", I suppose meaning that Justice was a redshirt sophomore. But if I'm not mistaken some of the Knott Central fans told me at the state tournament last year that Justice was not a redshirt and was the age a sophomore was suppose to be.

I think folks are trying to say he has been held back. I don't know if he has been held back or not. Usually those type of jokes come up in a situation where a sophomore or freshman is the best player on their team.

Is scoring 62 as a 16 year old less of a feet than as a 15 year old? Being held back only helps in middle school not high school. Cameron can play, period. I have seen him play for three years now. He scores off the bounce with a jumper, off a screen or taking it to the hole? He guards well and rebounds well too. Throw in he shoots over 90% from the charity stripe and he is about as complete of a player as you will find.

I don't disagree to an extent. I do think it matters quite a bit if one is held back. I can only imagine if we had held my oldest son back and my youngest is a natural hold back. I still think the jokes are funny.

Disagree. He's a sophomore now. If he's been held back then he'd be a junior or senior. He'll have at least one extra year to showcase his stuff. That makes a difference.

Hey, I'm DEFENDING him, not criticizing. I was told by Knott fans at the state tournament that Justice was not a hold back.
