Should Kentucky schedule Cincinnati for a yearly battle?

Featured Replies

The last game they played, in the 2005 NCAA Tourney, was a dandy.

Update: I thought this was College Football when I responded.

While I still think UC doesn't get talked about outside of NKY in KY I could see this as a good addition. UK's non-conference schedule has not been upto par this year.

I don't think it would do a lot for fans but I do think it would be good for UK's team.

I think the Brandon Knight year was the weakest non-conference schedule. People bemoan UK's lack of quality opponents coming to Rupp this year (myself included), but that team's best non-conference home game was against an Indiana team that was a far cry from what they were last year & are this year.

And compared to UC's it is MUCH better.

I was wondering why you said this:

1983 stall ball game. I think the final score was 24-11. Dreadful.

However, I doubt that's why they do not play in football.

But was just going to let is slide haha!

Sometimes it's good to have a non sequitur. .

I wish they would and play it in Cincy, would be easy to get good seats.

Nobody is comparing them

Maryland

Duke

Notre Dame

Baylor

Louisville

That's 5 NCAA tournament teams....While it would be better if IU and UNC were in place of Notre Dame and Baylor, I don't know how you can claim it's "not up to par".
