Jason Hinson's Panthers have started the season of hot, winning 7 of 8 games. Brent Bach's offensive prowess has been well-noted, but it's safe to assume that Augusta has not faced an opponent of Cooper's caliber. The Jaguars are coming off a 2-point home win over Ryle & boast a 5-2 record on the year.

 

Assuming the Mayans allow this game to play before bringing the planet to its knees, who wins & why?

Augusta has Brent Bach...who's tough to contain.

 

Cooper has Lou Maniacci, at 6-8 he's a half foot taller than anyone Augusta has.

 

I'd say the size wins out. Cooper by 10.

Will watch with interest. Here is a chance for Augusta to earn some big-time respect.

 

I don't think that the Maniacci factor will be the difference. IF Cooper plays defense the way they have in the past, this will be a major test for the Panthers and the make/break factor.

Big challenge for Augusta, but you can't count them out. Bach is very impressive. Always helps to have a player like that on the floor.

I hope the Jags pull out another win, but they seem to play to their competition lately and that could keep the game close. Seems whenever they seem to take a nice lead they seem to relax a bit and let their opponents close the gap. I'd like to see them not let up when pulling ahead in games.

 

I predict a 6 pt win by Cooper
