Cowboys 27 Steelers 24 OT

When your "young money" receivers continue to make bonehead plays like Brown did today, you lose. Fumbles a 30yd kick return, then lets a 42 yd punt fall to the turf and turn into a 69yd punt and force them out of a chance to end it in regulation basically. Ben was outstanding until the last throw.

When your corners are practice squad last week, you make Romo into Tom Brady. I'm disappointed on the pressure Lebeau put on Romo frankly. Running game non existent. Again, I'll be futurecoach for a second and tell you each and every time I predicted right, I said this is the purge year for the Steelers and they'll finish 8-8. Too many injuries to old guys as well as young ones. The fork has been inserted.

Thanks for bringing me into it. You all wonder why I will respond, because you all have no problem bringing me into it. :D

Which by the way I sure hope you are right about your Steelers and that they are finished. Right now if they beat the Bengals they probably will be in because they should beat the Browns the week after. So if you right that means the Bengals clinch the playoff spot next week, so I am hoping you are right! :D

The Steelers still control their destiny for the most part.

IF they win next week they own the tie-breaker with the Bengals. Cincinnati would need Cleveland to beat PGH AND Cincinnati to beat Baltimore to come out ahead.(I think that's right).

I wish that I could just get over this, but in a perfect world the Bengals would not have lost this season to Miami, Dallas, or Cleveland and would firmly be in first place all alone, and far from any big sweat of making the playoffs. In a perfect world, which it is not, the Bengals will win out their last two games against two teams that have already beat them this year and typically kick Bengal Butt year after year. The proper slide of the Steelers and the Ravens, that tremendously helps the Bengals, is nicely taking place, but my gut is telling me once again that I'm just getting all juiced up for nothing. It's just facing too big of odds to think that the Bengals will ultimately make me proud of them, when honestly they typically let me down. I am a bit surprised however that after all the let downs, they actually still have a chance, but I trying my best not to hold my breath just to be once again disappointed.

Pittsburgh lost to Cleveland, San Deigo, Oakland, and Tenn....WOW

From an entertainment aspect this was one of the best games of the year. I have personally coined it the "injury bowl" as both teams were pretty much wiped out by injury. Could have went either way but it was definitely fun to watch.

The loss to Miami is the one that really hurts. I don't think there is any shame in losing to Dallas. They are pretty good and are in every game they have played. Losing to Cleveland at Cleveland is going to happen from time to time. The home loss to Miami is the one that hurts the most!!

If the Steeler corners aren't healthy the Bengals will win by 2 TDs. Run game stinks.

As a Bengal fan, I love how Big Ben is publicly airing his displeasure with Todd Haley.

He made several comments after the game about the play-calling.

As beat up as Dallas is with injuries it is amazing they are still in the playoff hunt.

My thought's exactly. Missing their All-Pro DT (Jay Ratliff), his backup who had been playing well (Josh Brent), DE Kenyon Coleman, both elite inside linebackers (Lee/Carter), #6 overall pick and CB Morris Claiborne, nickel corner Orlando Scandrick, FS Barry Church, inside linebacker Ernie Sims (who had been playing good in Lee and Carter's absence), and there's even more reserves who are out. And that is just on the defensive side of the ball!!!!!

Once you take into account the offensive line has been pretty much patched together all season long with two or three of their best lineman out for most of the season, not to mention Murray being out six weeks (which killed the run game) along with all the other one or two week injuries they have had.

That's why I referred to yesterday's game as the injury bowl, the Steelers are pretty much in the same position.

The Steelers would be better if they went no huddle with Ben running things to be honest. the scripted crap with a 150lb scat back ain't cutting it.

I don't like it that he is doing it. It seems like players or coaches get angry with the plays they are running right before the play the Bengals. With the Ravens talk about how they wont run Ray Rice enough, and sure enough when they play the Bengals they now use him all the time after people get on them. Now with the Steelers he is not happy, so I am sure now they will be in the no huddle a lot this week which makes them a better offense.

It should be a great game and will come down to who honestly doesn't make the big mistake IMO. I honestly think who wins the Bengals/Steelers game will end up winning the division.

You planning on Baltimore losing 2?

You planning on Baltimore losing 2?

Yep! They play the Giants this week which the Giants win games like these to squeak into the playoffs every year. Then I do expect the Bengals to beat the Ravens the last week of the season even if they lose to the Steelers this week. Now hopefully the Bengals beat the Steelers too so this way they are division champs. :D
