Highlands @ Dixie Heights (12-11-12)

Featured Replies

Sounds like a good test to see where Highlands really is right now. Are they ready for prime time? I think that they are but will still come up a bit short in this one. I'm saying Dixie by 7-10.

ooooppppsss... forgot to call it a "prediction thread". Could a MOD please clean up my mess for me... thanks...

This will be a challenge for the Birds as Dixie already has 4 games under their belts including big wins over the CAmels and Newport. They played NCC down to the wire as well.

Obviously there will be a focus on Mr. Hatton tonight but I dont think the Birds will need to double him. The Birds will need to convert on the offensive end and hope that as a whole they can outscore the rest of the Colonels.

Hatton is going to get his 20 you just want to try and keep him from getting anything more.

Looking forward to seeing how the Birds come out and play.

Hatton is 101 points away from the school scoring record.

As a junior early in the season. That is an amazing stat!

I think Hatton has 1779 points in his career.

I've got about 2600 in my head for the 9th region record.

Dixie by around 10. Despite not having much experience, they are probably the more talented team and much deeper than they're given credit for.

Hatton will get his, but if Highlands is going to possibly pull the upset, they need to limit guys like Daria, Milligan, and NIehaus from getting close to double figures.

Dixie by 12 Hatton will get 32.

A huge help for the Birds is if Nick True plays smart and stays on the floor to score. Add to that a solid game by Witte, and Highlands will make a nice run.

I believe Hatton is averaging 29 points a game, so if the Birds can hold him to 20 then they will have done a great job. Who will get the task of gaurding Hatton to start? I assume it will be a combination of players throughout. Should be a good game.
