Let me guess...some of the same officials that totally butchered last season's 9th region tournament.

While I would agree that the refs were bad last night, it was not 1-sided as mentioned above. Hatton should have been disqualified much earlier as he had several offensive fouls not called.

 

Result would have been much different if both teams were full strength.

 

As for Jackson, he was just giving a little back of what he was getting. Kid is going to be real good.

I have heard with the increase in flopping refs are very reluctant to call charging fouls. It better be very obvious thats all im saying.

You would think that the CC parent fan base would be embarrassed. However, I am not thinking so with all the horrible things they were screaming at the Dixie players after they were exiting the gym floor after the game. I would definitely think Nate would make a difference for CC as would have decent officiating for either team. I think though sayingHatton would have been disqualified much earlier is almost comical. He was hammered all night long. We could debate variables all day long about what could have changed the outcome or the performance of particular players. The bottom line is Dixie came back on the second half and got the win.

What I have learned from reading this thread;

Walter gave an unbiased opinion (because Holmes was not playing).

A healthy McGovney is a 20 point swing against Dixie.

Holbrook has 21 points and was off.

The refs cost Campbell county 20 points.

The refs cost Dixie 20 points .

Not sure who were the worst sports of the game. The players for hard fouls, the players for staring at others, the parents for yelling at players.

Flops are bad.

Afiguy and Walter will not be exchanging Christmas gifts this year.

 

Congrats to Dixie on the win. Good luck to both teams. I hope they meet at the end of the season with everybody healthy, the best refs calling a perfect game and with the players and fans in perfect harmony .
