Colonels come back from 10 in second half. Absolutely horrible officiated game. 10th region officials in this game were a piece of work, to say the least.

Yup. I believe biggest deficit was 36-22 in first half.

 

Huge run to start the second half got them back in it.

I'd say atleast 20. Not sure of exact numbers.

 

Jackson had around 15 for CC.

 

Milligan was huge in 4th. Had 6 points and atleast 5 rbs

Absolutely worst called game I've ever seen. Apparently, there is bad blood from some incident in the past with one of the officials and he routinely gets scratched by Dixie each year, but fell through the cracks this year. Don't get me wrong, they were bad both ways, but one official in particular had it out for Dixie.

DeAndre Jackson was good in the first half (in part because Dixie's defense was bad, but he took advantage), but I believe he was held scoreless in the second half.

When was the last time you saw an offensive player get intentionally fouled then foul out because of a T for giving the player who fouled him a stare? Happened tonight with Hatton after Holbrook fouled him HARD on a breakaway. Horrible call by the ref. Hatton got up after the foul and got in Holbrook's face for a second but never said a word then as he turns his back, the ref t's him up. Campbell players clap at Hatton and nothing done. Lol just one of the few examples of how bad they were both ways.

Yes, that was bad. Especially with the way Jackson was staring down Dixie players in the first half after each shot he made.

 

For me the worst calls were the two down the stretch against Milligan simply going up for defensive rebounds, grabbing them and being called for phantom fouls.

The one against Milligan was bad. Got the rebound. Goes to start dribbling and is being held. Kid falls from being off balanced and they call foul on Milligan. Also several instances where Hatton's jersey was being held and no foul called.

 

And I don't think the 10th officials know what a charge is. A LOT of blocking calls tonight where half were probably charges. Both fans were upset.

Yes, that one was bad, but I felt the one where he and the CC big were back-to-back, both pushing with their bodies, and Milligan got the board and was called for a foul was really bad. The ball came off on the side of the basket where Milligan was facing and he was rang up. I thought the kid did a great job of keeping his composure through it though.

While I would agree that the refs were bad last night, it was not 1-sided as mentioned above. Hatton should have been disqualified much earlier as he had several offensive fouls not called.

 

Result would have been much different if both teams were full strength.

 

As for Jackson, he was just giving a little back of what he was getting. Kid is going to be real good.
