I can't remember what grade the kid was in. Maybe 8th or 9th when I saw him play for the first time. He put a crossover that was so good I told my buddy that this kid would dominate soon.

 

I'm not sure about "high D1" but he has a bright future.

He needs to pick up about 30lbs and another few inches before High Div 1 is in his sights. The kid is definitely a player though and very smooth.

Very good player but has a lot of maturing to do on the court. Still has too many turnovers for point guard. He does have the stuff to be special. He has a great attitude and work ethic. He is not as good as a Hatton, Campbell, or Nick R yet.

A little shocked by the margin. The Bulldogs are a really good team and this is a rebuilding season for the Bearcats.

Holmes defense in the second half was very good. They threw an all out full court press and trap on and Walton couldn't do anything. When you see them in person, you will understand. i can almost guarantee there isnt a team in the state as quick as them that also applies pressure the way they do, save for Ballard and maybe a handful of other teams.

 

They close out extremely well and suffocate the opposition.

Yet. But I think he has more natural athletic potential. In one year, James Bolden went from being a BGP unknown to the front of the class.

Agreed. If he were more selfish, he'd easily average 25 a game. He was dropping dimes tonight and honestly tried to set up his teammates more than he should have. Several times he tried to force a pass which led to a turnover but would've been an easy pull up jumper for him.

 

Love his attitude though. Very much a team player.

The point totals will not be very high when you play with a running clock. The 4th quarter was over in like 10 minutes.
