They know how to beat the system. And doctors are complicit with their scam. Doctors don't want to risk losing a patient, so they eagerly sign the paperwork authorizing a parking tag. There really should be some kind of impartial review process.

That UPS driver did not have one. I can guarantee that. He should no have parked there and I'm sure if you called the warehouse and spoke to a supervisor try would say the same thing.

I do at times, sure. But never and I mean EVER do I park in a handicap spot. That's just ridiculous, no excuse for it. Birdsfan has a very valid point, hard to argue against it.

No, it's not worse to me. I just think it's extremely lazy and pretty low to park in a handicap spot. I don't care if there's 20 open handicap spots. Do I make mistakes? Sure. Do I break driving laws at times? Yep. But, to me, parking in a handicap spot is the single most selfish, thoughtless thing you can do when it comes to breaking driving rules. It doesn't take much effort for a healthy bodied person to walk a little extra distance. Let's be honest, that's usually the reason that law gets broke...laziness.

I agree it's laziness, but that doesn't (at least to me) mean they're a bad person. Just that they're lazy.

Because I live it every day...that's how.

 

If he does this same thing every day, he should be fired from his job. Secondly, no business would tell someone to violate the law. And if they did, that doesn't excuse his behavior one bit. If someone tells you to shoplift, does that make it okay?

That's like saying, Isn't murder much worse than pertty theft? So why shouldn't petty theft be morally acceptable? I mean, if you're just doing it for a second or two.
